What does My Payroll Desk do?
We provide back-office support for small and growing businesses: payroll, bookkeeping and accounting, accounts payable and receivable, contractor administration and general business administration.
How much does it cost?
We have three flat monthly plans: Starter from $349/mo (up to 5 employees and 60 transactions a month), Growth from $749/mo (up to 15 employees and 250 transactions a month, our most popular) and Scale from $1,290/mo (up to 30 employees and 600 transactions a month). Larger or more complex? Custom gets a fixed quote within 24 hours. Prices are in CAD before GST/PST. Plans are month-to-month and can be paused anytime, and there's no hourly billing. See pricing.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. Every plan is month-to-month, and you can pause it anytime.
Do I have to sign up for everything?
No. Use one service or combine several, and add support as your business grows. The plan finder shows which plan fits your team size and monthly volume.
How do you keep my data safe?
We only ask for the access we need to do the work, use secure tools to exchange documents, and never sell your information. Read how we handle your data for the plain-language version.
What software do you work with?
We work in the accounting and payroll software you already use. Tell us what you're on when you get in touch, and we'll confirm how we'll work with it.
Do I have to leave my accountant?
No. We handle the day-to-day payroll, books and admin, and keep your records organized so your accountant has cleaner information to work with at year-end.
What size of business do you work with?
Small and growing businesses, from owners with a few employees or contractors up to teams of around 30 employees. Bigger than that? We'll put together a custom quote.
Do you file my taxes?
We support the bookkeeping and administrative side of GST/HST, PST, WCB and payroll remittances, and keep your records organized so your accountant or tax professional has cleaner information to work with at year-end.
Can you handle payroll year-end, T4s and ROEs?
Yes. Payroll year-end support, T4 preparation and ROE support are part of our payroll service, along with CRA payroll remittances.
Can you pay and track my contractors?
Yes. Contractor administration covers contractor invoices, payments, records, documentation and payment reporting.
